Today's WTF Wednesday has been brewing in my mind for a few days.
This picture has been circulating on Facebook for about a week now...
To this I say, "WTF?!"
WTF #1:
WHY ARE WE SUPPORTING BREAST CANCER?!
I bet it meant support breast cancer AWARENESS. Or maybe support breast cancer RESEARCH. Or even possibly support breast cancer PREVENTION.
But nah... let's just take off our bras to support breast cancer. What a wonderful slap in the face to the millions of men and women who have had breast cancer, found it off-putting, and now you are mocking them with you unhinged ta-tas swaying in the breeze.
Cheese and rice!
WTF #2:
Let's say they really meant to support breast cancer awareness... How does taking off your bra support this?! I'm not sure getting men all riled up meanwhile scarring the rest of society with awkward stares/eye aversions is going to help anything.
Do you know who I think is behind this "movement"?
Viagra.
A bunch of unruly women with their bazoombas running wild... There will be a bunch of hot and bothered men running around rubbing up against their wives when their little blue pill kicks in.
Ew.
WTF #3:
Has anyone else noticed that Oct 13 is a Sunday?
So you mean to tell me your want ladies to not wear their bras to CHURCH?!
This is seems like a swell idea.
You have the pastor trying to preach, but he keeps saying things like, "nipple" instead of nickel, and "be on your breast behavior" instead of best... and he says, "Lord help me," and fans himself more than usual.
Not to mention that breasts don't all come in the same package. You mean to tell me you want ALL women going bra-less? Let's think about this, shall we?
Not all women wear dresses that go past the knee...
I'm not confident all women have bossoms that do not go past the knee...
And can you imagine the commotion at a Pentecostal or Assembly of God service?!?!?!
If we allow this to happen, expect to see a lot of frightened children...
Conclusion: For the love of all things good and holy, please do not participate in this mockery. It is absurd, it is in no way helpful for breast cancer, and I think I've made my case that society depends on this not being an actual thing. I mean, Congress is distracted enough right now with their extreme case of douche-ness to not be distracted any further by millions of rogue breasts...
Can I get an amen?!
